During our discussion before going on the ice, we emphasized the significance of selecting a stick with the appropriate flex according to one's size. Below, you will find a CCM flex chart that offers an estimate of the ideal flex based on the player's height and weight. When buying a new stick, it is important to keep in mind that a player's stick typically measures 1-2 inches above or below their chin. For every inch the stick is shortened, manufacturers recommend that the stiffness increases by 3 units. While a slight adjustment might not have a major impact, significant changes can certainly affect performance.
